Before SyncEventsToCal, accessing all your events (as in facebook, Myspace, etc) was time consuming: You had to connect to each web site (Facebook, Myspace, etc) one after the other, go to the calendar view (when there was one) - or export the calendar items from eachweb site to your PC-based calendar (Outlook, Lotus, Google...) then synchronize it with your iPhone, using iTunes and a cable !

SyncEventsToCal converts the adress details provided in Facebook or Salesforce, etc...into a google MAP Adress.
SyncEventsToCal keeps a backtrack link to the event as it is on its original site.
For instance, set up an one hour alarm before each facebook event. iCal will use this alarm to remind you of the events.
Because the events are stored in iCal, you can access them off line (in case you don't have a signal for instance)
Affect iCal calendars to specific sets of events. For exampe, if you have a "work" calendar already present in iCal, you can affect it to all Salesforce events.
